Classic style girls in eco-resin.
The patinas are varied, often seeking the contrast between the classic shape of the modeling and a more modern aesthetic finish.
Textile sculptures made with different types of fabrics, leathers and threads.
I define certain parts of the face with threads that I often dye myself. I use different types of cardboard to give internal structure to the pieces.
They are characters that I have been working on for years.
They are modeled on a paste manufactured from vinyl glue.
Afterwards, a mould has been made and the resin has been positioned and they have been given a bronze and/or iron bath.
A lot of the work I do is experimental.
All these tests that I want to show you, sometimes they transport me to fantastic places, and other times not so much.
But they are part of my research process, which takes up a very important part of the time I spend finishing the pieces.
My entire work begins with clay modeling.
This first piece, is the one that gives way from the mold to other pieces with different materials.
